Please be aware that by submitting a reservation with us you agree to the following:


RATES & CANCELLATION POLICY
- For a Standard Rate reservation down payment of 50% of the total amount of the reservation is required. That amount of the down payment will be subtracted from the total cost when final payment is done. If you can cancel prior to 30 days before your arrival date then we will return your full down payment. If you cancel within less than 30 days prior to your arrival, we will keep the down payment.
- Promotional Rate - you pay 50% of the total amount for your stay at the moment you make your reservation Which is None Refundable the other 50% is paid upon check in.
- None Refundable rate - as the name indicates is a None Refundable, you pay the whole amount of your reservation upfront at a better rate but there will be no devolution if cancelled.
- Your reservation will be confirmed ONLY when the down payment has been made after you authorize the payment via a link that our bank will send you.


PAYMENTS

- Any due balance will be paid at the check in - Payment methods: cash, credit cards are also accepted and Paypal (paypal has an extra charge of 4% from the total amount). For credit card down payments we will send you an authorization payment link for you to access and approve the payment. 


What is this payment link authorization and approval?

 From September 14th 2019, a new European directive (PSD2), aimed at making  online payments safer, requiring Strong Customer Authentication (SCA),  will be inforced across the European Economic Area. To reduce fraud and make online payments more secure when charging or authorizing a card that isn’t physically present or charging cards remotely, you’ll have to perform Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).


Strong Customer Authentication means that your identity will need to be verified thoroughly. In other words, you need to prove you are the card owner through at least two of the three methods of authentication: something you know as password or PIN, have a mobile phone or hardware token, or is fingerprint or face recognition. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_customer_authentication?wprov=sfti1


"Comercia Global Payments" will send you a link that you will be able to open in any device to authorize and approve the payment. 


CHECK IN/OUT
- "Check in" time is after 14 hours. If you plan to arrive early please notify it and we will try to accommodate a room to keep your baggage until that time (however we can not assure it). "Check in" between 22 and 24 hours have an extra cost of 20 euro and after 24 hours the fee is of 40
- BE AWARE: To check in you will have to text us or call us 20 minutes prior to arrival (if meeting time has not been scheduled with us prior to your arrival) letting us know that you are on the way. There is NO RECEPTION DESK in any of our properties. After your notification one of our staff will travel to the property to welcome you. If you do not do so, it could happen that you will have to wait at least one hour for one of our staff members to get there. Telephone number for is +34 667740600 (Whatsapp available).
- "Check out" time is 11am (please leave the keys inside of the room or apartment and just close the doors behind you). If you need to leave some luggage, notify it during check in and we will try to accommodate but we can NOT assure that option. If that was the case we always recommend the locker room in the main train station SANTS, with a very few cost, or next to Plaça Catalunya.


POLICY
- NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN ANY OF OUR PROPERTIES, to do so you will to step out of the building. If we prove that you infringe (break) that rule, you will be punish with 300 eur fine and we will ask to leave our accommodations immediately. We will also inform to the local authorities.
- No parties or noise after 23 hours will be acceptable. If we get a complain from any of our neighbors because of noise issues, we will cancel any previous agreement and you will be ask to leave the room or apartment. No money will be given back.
- No pets
- Minimum stay of two consecutive nights
- No children under 8 years of age.
- BarcelonaBB B&B reserves the right to allocate you in another room of the same or better characteristics than the one you booked in case of overbooking respecting the price on agreement.


CITY TAX 

- Barcelona City tax 2,50€ per person/per night for a maximum of 7 nights, IT IS NOT INCLUDED in this price. Anyone under the age of 17 is exempted.
